Christian Youth in Action® (CYIA™) will be held June 14-26, 2009, at Camp Fairwood. This two-week training camp will prepare young people age 14 or older to teach CEF 5-Day Clubs® throughout the Madison area in the summer of 2009.

Serving South Central Wisconsin for over 50 years, CEF of Greater Madison is the local chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship®. CEF is the largest children’s ministry in the world, with established work in 157 countries around the globe.

CEF’s mission is to evangelize unchurched children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, disciple them, and establish them in a local church for Christian living. CEF accomplishes this mission through a variety of different ministries during the summer and school year, going to where children are outside of church walls. CEF also offers college-accredited training courses and other training opportunities to equip workers to reach children effectively for Christ.

Thousands of children are reached with the Gospel message each year in the state of Wisconsin alone!

Spring Appreciation Dinner

On April 24th, more than 150 people joined us at Door Creek Church to celebrate a year of blessings in ministry. Entertainment was provided by illusionist Daniel Hullstrom and Good News Club® children. Additional photos can be found on our blog.

CEF was blessed to have more than 130 people serve with the ministry this past year. If you would like to join us in ministry, contact the office so we can determine how to best use your gifts.

We were thrilled to receive 17 applications for our Christian Youth in Action summer missionary program. Accepted candidates will begin Orientations in April and May and attend training camp in June. Click here for more information or visit our blog.

5-Day Club

Do you have heart to share Christ with children in your neighborhood? Become a 5-Day Club host! We hope to have 52 5-Day Clubs this summer. Hosting is as easy as inviting children, opening up your backyard for an hour and half for 5 consecutive days, and providing children that attend with a simple treat. Click here for more information. For an update on how many 5-Day Clubs we have scheduled, please visit our blog.

As a 5-Day Club host, would you like to be trained in how to counsel a child for salvation, learn tips to make your club a success, and more? Training will take place on May 23rd 9:30-11:00am and on June 30th 7:00-8:30pm. There is no cost for this training. Please contact the office to sign up.
